Tiger I

As TIGER tanks are one of my favorite subjects I decided to Micheal Whitmann's Tiger I in the Ardennes before he was killed.  This is the new issue Tiger I late.  This was originally in a diorama but during moving things got rather messed up and the only surviver was my tiger...go figure.  Anyway this was the first kit I had done with seperate track links.  I found them not real hard to do and the realizm you were able to introduce into the subject far out wayed the trouble to make them.   It was finished with Tamiya Paints and washed with burnt umber and burnt sienna water colors and a pastel dusting.  The figures are a mixture of Tamiya and DML. This was my second tiger I built and had a lot of fun doing it.
